Roles and responsibilities
We are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager will leverage technical expertise to support the organization in driving sales growth for our diesel generator product line in Bahrain, GCC & across MEA region. This role involves building relationships with clients to understand their needs, providing technical solutions, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and sales of diesel generators along with excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Technical Sales Support: Provide technical knowledge and support to customers throughout the sales cycle, from initial inquiry to project delivery.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market dynamics, competitor products, and emerging technologies to drive sales strategies and identify trends and competitive landscape.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our diesel generators.
- Proposal Development: Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor sales performance metrics and report regularly on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5-7 years of sales experience in the diesel generators industry, power generation, or related sectors in Bahrain, GCC and MEA.
