Job Description:
Join the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) as an IT Project Coordinator. In this role you will oversee a variety of projects ensuring timely delivery and effective coordination among teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities resources and information
- Maintain project documentation and respond to progress inquiries
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues proactively
- Communicate initiative status to all stakeholders
- Capture and track project risks and mitigations
Technical Skills Required:
- 2 years of experience as a project coordinator or scheduler
- Proficient in Microsoft Project Project Online and Microsoft Planner
- Extensive experience with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
