Job Description:
We are seeking a Lead Python Automation Engineer with a primary focus on delivering technical expertise and managing daytoday deliverables. Responsibilities include assisting with the technical design of business systems building applications and interfaces and ensuring robust data security retention and recovery. The successful candidate will independently research and recommend solutions contribute to technology best practices and provide expertise throughout the designtodeployment phases with a focus on reliability costefficiency performance data integrity and scalability.
Work Location Requirement: Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Plano TX Jersey City NJ Charlotte NC or Atlanta GA or be willing to relocate. Occasional travel may be required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Proficiency in Python Unix/KSH shell scripting or PowerShell.
- Handson experience with process automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in Python scripting PowerShell and Unix shell scripting.
- Solid knowledge of RDBMS SQL Python Memory Management and concurrency (GIL).
- Handson experience with Oracle MSSQL or other RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in database activity monitoring and engineering tasks like provisioning patching and version upgrades.
- Familiarity with Guardium is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software engineering design patterns functional programming data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in the Banking and Finance domain.
- Knowledge of Agile SCRUM or Extreme Programming methodologies.
- Excellent problemsolving analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask prioritize and meet deadlines under demanding conditions.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work extended periods at a computer.
- Effective communication skills for phone email and inperson interactions.
- Flexibility for occasional travel based on project needs
