Job Description

Job Overview

We are looking for a hardworking and efficient Store Manager to join our Retail Department.

As a Retail Store Manager your main role will be to manage daytoday activities in the store and merchandise of the store.

In addition to this you will be required to handle the customers staff and the daily operations. You will be training mentoring and guiding the store staff when required. You must keep a check on their performance and sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Create a report of the stock on a weekly basis.
  • Complete the store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
  • Train and recruit the staff.
  • Manage the operations of the store on a daily basis.
  • Determine the customers needs and make sure they are fulfilled.
  • Maintain good relations with the customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve them on a priority basis.
  • Maintain the inventory and ensure the availability of merchandise.
  • Ensure that the security devices are working properly.
  • Make sure the store has a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Determine the new policies and procedures for the store.
  • Ensure the stores compliance with health and safety rules and regulations.
  • Implement new marketing strategies to enhance the sale of the store.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or relevant field. High School Diploma will also be preferred.
  • Proven 3 years of experience working as a Store Manager Retail Manager or a similar role in the Retail Department.
  • Strong understanding of strategic planning techniques.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Quick decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to maintain store standards and conditions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other retail software.
  • Ability to lead and motivate the team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
