Job Description
Our client is a foremost commercial bank in Nigeria. Due to expansion they are in need of a PROJECT MANAGER.
LOCATION: Lagos
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders including clients senior management and crossfunctional teams.
- Identify and assess project risks develop mitigation strategies and monitor potential impacts on project outcomes.
- Resolve project issues promptly ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee project budgets track expenses and ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
- Provide regular budget updates to stakeholders and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Track and analyze project performance including KPIs and other metrics to ensure project goals are met.
- Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and provide insights into project progress.
- Ensure all projects comply with regulatory and bankspecific standards.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans reports and historical records.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor s degree in Business Finance Project Management or any relevant field (MBA or PMP certification is a plus).
- Proven experience in project management within the banking.
- Strong understanding of commercial banking products services and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Asana Jira) and financial tracking systems.
