Job Description
Job Title: RN Cath Lab
Sign on Bonus: $10000 (requires two years of Cath Lab RN experience)
Patient Population: Invasive Cardiology Structural Heart and Peripheral Vascular Disease
Patient Ratios: Procedural Area
Number of Rooms: 4 Cath Labs
Shift: Full Time / 4/10s / Days 7:00A 5:30P
Required Experience: Minimum of two years of recent full time RN Cath Lab as RN
Call Requirement:Must live under 30 minutes from hospital 6 shifts per schedule (6 weeks) and 1 weekend per 6 weeks.
Job Summary: The Cath Lab Registered Nurse coordinates patient care delivery by the health care team using the BSWH nursing professional practice model.
Essential Functions: Clinical Judgment Clinical Inquiry Caring Practices Response to Diversity Advocacy and Moral Agency Facilitation of Learning Partnership Systems Thinking Professionalism.
Key Success Factors:Knowledge and understanding of nursing and patient care standards and procedures medical terminology legalities medical and professional nursing ethics communication skills critical thinking problem solving skills ability to observe and communicate changes in patients condition general computer skills.

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification Major in Nursing 2 Years of Experience Basic Life Support (BLS) and Registered Nurse (RN) certification ACLS (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
