Quality:
Coordinate Protectoseal Quality processes.
Maintain ISO and ATEX Certification processes at all facilities.
Manage semiannual system management reviews
Interact with Customers on any Quality and Warranty issues/items.
Work with the Engineering and Production Teams to assist with implementation of all Customer specific Work Orders Quality Plans Acceptance Test Plans etc. to assure full compliance with Customer quality expectations for each Job.
Safety:
Develop and maintain the organizations health and safety programs at all facilities.
Coordinate periodic onsite facility safety audits to check for compliance with OSHA guidelines.
Investigate the root cause of accidents and prepare reports with findings and corrective actions.
Prepare and facilitate safety training and education programs.
Lead safety committee meetings and act as a resource for the group.
Develop and implement safety processes into the manufacturing operations.
Develop a safety culture throughout the organization.
Key Position Accountabilities:
Quality:
Maintain the ISO Quality Manual Quality Procedures and Forms so they are all current and represent the say what we do do what we say and prove it ISO culture.
Pursue a Continuous Improvement philosophy by providing input to Production Engineering and Purchasing regarding quality related improvement opportunities.
Ensure the proper Quality oversight input and support is provided to the Production Department Sales and Engineering teams.
Acts as a customer/supplier liaison on quality related matters.
Participates in product and process development and improvement reviews.
Implements monitors and assesses product performance using statistical techniques as required and ensures the generation of required reports in a timely basis.
Safety:
Ensure compliance to OSHA regulations.
Conduct First Report of Injury Investigation and create corresponding documentation.
Assist with the development and education with all associates on the appropriate safety procedures policies and programs.
Prepare and maintain the OSHA 300 log.
Implement injury preventions programs to minimize worker injuries
Assist with the maintaining and management of the safety budget.
Develop safety work procedures and ensure proper training of employees.
Receive/resolve employee safety issues that are reported including corrective action.
Assist with New Employee Orientation.
Educate/Promote & coordinate our Near Miss Program.
Requirements:
58 years of Quality and Safety leadership experience
Engineering or business degree required.
Experience with quality systems a must have.
Experience with safety systems a must have.
Metals manufacturing experience a must have.
Management supervisory experience a must have.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Experience navigating and utilizing an ERP system; advanced knowledge of MS Office products
Analytical approach and ability to be a reference to the leadership team.
