Job Description
Analyze transmission ( Electrical)system performance and identify opportunities for improvement in ancillary services provision.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize voltage control frequency regulation and reactive power support.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Conduct feasibility studies and costbenefit analyses for proposed ancillary services projects.
Provide technical expertise and support for transmission system planning and analyzing system performance identifying optimization opportunities and implementing solutions to enhance grid stability and reliability.
Proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g. PSS/E PowerWorld PSSE).
Monitor system performance and respond to emergencies or abnormal conditions as needed.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in transmission engineering and ancillary services.
Experience with renewable energy integration and grid modernization initiatives is a plus.
