Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator (Brain Health Study)
Location: Baltimore MD
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to support a dynamic and growing communitybased cohort study focused on brain health equity. The role involves daytoday management of research operations and close collaboration with the Principal Investigator. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful research within historically marginalized communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain research data files and materials for clinical studies.
- Develop implement and maintain regulatory documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) compliance.
- Coordinate participant recruitment scheduling and monitoring for outpatient and inpatient visits.
- Assist in preparing study protocols source documents and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCP) IRB approvals and federal standards such as HIPAA.
- Support the development of data collection tools including forms and questionnaires.
- Collect research data from patient charts medical records and diagnostic tests for analysis.
- Liaise with study participants and investigators reporting any adverse events or protocol deviations.
- Assist in creating and maintaining online resources and clinical trial documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Mentor and train new research coordinators providing guidance on data management regulatory compliance and clinical research best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in public health epidemiology or a related field preferred.
- Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
- Extensive experience managing communitybased epidemiological studies.
- Indepth knowledge of IRB regulations GCP guidelines and clinical trial practices.
- Strong project management leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in REDCap or similar research databases.
- Valid Maryland drivers license and ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
