Job Description
Certified Surgical Tech (Direct Hire) Ref:
Facility: Surgery Center
Address: East Setauket NY
Start Date: 11/04/2024
Pay rate: *45/hr
Schedule: Must be flexible with hours. This is a FullTime directhire position. No nights weekends major holidays or oncall.
Reports to: Director of Nurses (DON)
EMR:HST
# of Operating Rooms:4
# of surgeries per month:250

Facility Schedule: Days MF 40hours/week
Education/Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required:
The Surgical Scrub Tech or the Certified Surgical Tech is a member of the surgical team who works with surgeons anesthesia personnel RNs and other surgical personnel in delivering pt care and assuming appropriate responsibilities before during and after surgery procedures

Education/Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required:
- GED or High School Diploma
- NBSTSACertified Surgical Tech or other equivalent certification
- BLS required
- At least one year experience
- ORTHO Experience
- Two years experience preferred
