Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to promote mobility functional independence and overall wellbeing.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and strategies for recovery.
- Document patient care activities progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid Virginia Physical Therapy license.
- Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patientcentered approach.
