Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled CT/XRay Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures ensuring highquality images for interpretation by physicians. This role requires strong technical skills attention to detail and a commitment to patient care and safety.
Duties
- Perform CT and Xray examinations according to established protocols and procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging studies ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Review images for quality and accuracy and ensure proper documentation in electronic health record systems such as Epic or Meditech.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
Experience
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a CT/XRay Tech in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Proficient in performing CT and Xray imaging procedures.
- Xray experience needs to include fluoro all Xray exams surgery (Carm) and portable.
Requirements
- ARRT(CT) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
