Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse for our outpatient care unit. The ideal candidate will provide highquality nursing care to patients requiring outpatient services ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires strong clinical skills the ability to handle diverse patient needs and a commitment to patient education and support.

Duties

• Monitor and assess the condition of patients in the outpatient care unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Administer medications perform interventions and manage patient care as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes medications and followup care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Meditech.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient care or similar setting.
• Experience with preoperative and postoperative patient management preferred.

Requirements

• Active CA State LVN/LPN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
