Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Transition Technologies MS is a dynamic and rapidly growing IT company with a global footprint. We specialize in comprehensive service delivery and staffing, leveraging industry-leading and niche technology expertise. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Functional Testing Lead for one of our esteemed clients in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities: As the Functional Testing Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing the end-to-end testing processes to validate the business functionality of our platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. End-to-End Testing Oversight: You will manage and oversee the entire testing process, ensuring that all technical, data quality, and business tests are performed rigorously to confirm the business validity of our solutions.

  2. Scope and Planning: You will be responsible for planning the scope and approach for business-facing tests, ensuring that testing aligns with business requirements and objectives.

  3. Defect Management: You will handle defect management by identifying issues, tracking their resolution, and effectively communicating with relevant business stakeholders.

  4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): You will lead user involvement during UAT phases, ensuring that end-user feedback is incorporated and that the final product meets user needs.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Skills:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in software testing, with a strong emphasis on testing data platforms and ensuring data quality.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading end-to-end testing initiatives for complex data platforms is essential.
  • Data Testing Expertise: Familiarity with data testing and quality assurance in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines is crucial.
  • SDLC & Agile Methodologies: A deep understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies will be beneficial for streamlining testing processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are necessary to navigate complex testing scenarios effectively.
  • HR Data Experience: While not mandatory, experience working with HR data and an understanding of privacy regulations surrounding HR data will be advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in English is a must.
