Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Merkle Root is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Blockchain Developer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this dynamic role, you will engage with a variety of exciting blockchain projects, contributing to the development of innovative blockchain solutions that push the boundaries of technology. You will work on cutting-edge initiatives, including Layer 2 solutions and zk-Rollups, while exploring and implementing technologies across multiple blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polkadot, and Solana.

As a Senior Blockchain Developer, your responsibilities will encompass designing, developing, and optimizing blockchain applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, delivering solutions that meet our clients’ needs. Your expertise in ERC standards and related blockchain concepts will be crucial in guiding best practices and maintaining high-quality coding standards throughout the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of blockchain technologies, with significant experience in implementing Layer 2 solutions and zk-Rollups. Your proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, Python, and Rust, along with familiarity with frameworks like React.js, will enable you to create robust applications and enhance user experiences. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a background in developing AI, IoT solutions, and metaverse technologies, as these areas are integral to our strategic initiatives.
