Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this fulltime role you will provide handson patient care develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal recovery outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine patients needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidencebased practices.

  • Provide direct patient care through therapeutic activities adaptive techniques and modalities.

  • Monitor and document patient progress making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

  • Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.

  • Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols home exercises and strategies for daily living.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Bachelors Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred but new graduates are welcome.

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
