The Department
As a Solution Architect you are part of the team of architects within the Architecture department. Architecture is part of the CIO Office of the IT & Data department at Schiphol Group. Its primary purpose is to create sustainable alignment between business and IT in order to realize our IT & Data Strategy in a harmonized way. More and more we practice Agile principles.
What will you be doing as a Solution Architect
As a Solution Architect you will produce architecture documents and models advise on business impact analyses privacy impact analyses and set architecture guardrails for the development of IT services and solutions. You will be responsible for the Architecture Definition Documents and other architecture products when required. You work in cooperation with the Enterprise Architects and business platform teams who are responsible for delivering and running business applications for the business domains (Airport Operations Asset Management Airport Security & Safety Commercial Employee).
For this role you will primarily be working for the Airport Safety & Environment domain which covers e.g. compliance with airport safety regulations compliance with health and hazardous goods regulations working in line with permit regulations1 and a wide variety of other topics.
For this specific assignment you are responsible for:
Continue realization of Safety Control roadmap in agile value stream V4S moving from siloarchitecture to a loosely coupled platform combining data & analytics apps and APIs;
Architecture in the IVPproject responsible for integrated solution to support permit request and registration. This requires strong personal and social skills e.g. in aligning and convincing of other Business Units to cooperate.

Competencies & skills:
Experience in safety compliance or permits is a strong pre;
Able to explain the pros and cons of a proposed solution to business stakeholders;
Working experience with multiple sourcing and development methods;
Keen on taking on integration challenges;
Experience in working with modern architectural concept;
Fluent in Archimate 3;
Experience with cloud architecture and cloud environments (Azure) is a pre;
Knowledge of and experience with TOGAF is a pre;
Experience with Bizzdesign Enterprise Studio is a pre;
Experience in working with software development teams;
Fluent in Dutch and English.

The costs for the supplier within this construction are 0.75 per hour worked (maximum 1600 hours). After 1600 hours the supplier will be removed from the chain. !!
