Currently we are partnered with a preferred healthcare client in rural Utah in search of a highly talented Director of Medical/Surgical and ICU Services.

Job Summary:

Join a nationally recognized rural healthcare provider as their next Director of Medical/Surgical and ICU Services. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive clinical excellence through leadership of both Medical/Surgical and ICU departments
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient care quality and outcomes
  • Lead and mentor nursing teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and CMS regulations
  • Manage departmental operations including staffing budgeting and resource allocation
  • Drive clinical components of utilization review and process improvement initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians staff patients and families
  • Oversee staff education competency development and performance management
  • Implement and monitor infection control standards and safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • Current Utah RN license or eligible for licensure
  • Strong foundation in Medical/Surgical or ICU nursing with proven leadership experience
  • Track record of successful clinical team leadership and mentorship
  • Experience with Joint Commission accreditation and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvements and patient satisfaction
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across departments
  • Current BLS ACLS PALS certifications
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred
