Responsabilities:
Compliance with Payment Policies:
- Ensure compliance with the companys payment policy.
Payments to Suppliers:
- Ensure accurate and timely payments to avoid stock shortages;
Banking Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with banks to ensure access to financing;
Treasury Function:
- Perform treasury functions efficiently and costeffectively;
Customer Collections:
- Monitor debtors to expedite payments and reduce defaults;
Negotiation of Terms:
- Facilitate negotiations of payment terms with customers;
Customer Satisfaction: - Contribute to inventory availability through accurate payments to suppliers;
Internal Payments: - Ensure prompt payments of internal requests for efficient operations;
Financial Process Optimization: - Improve financial processes to reduce processing costs;
Cash Management: - Coordinate the treasury team to ensure effective cash management;
Financial Reporting: - Provide relevant reports to the management team;
Bank Reconciliation: - Perform monthly bank reconciliations;
Auditor Relations: - Assist auditors with necessary information;
Team Development: - Organize assessment and development sessions for staff;
Communication: - Ensure effective communication regarding changes in the treasury environment;
Payment Oversight: - Supervise staff to ensure all payments are in accordance with policies;
Liquidity Planning: - Plan monthly efforts to ensure financial liquidity;
Team Responsibilities Management: - Distribute and oversee responsibilities among team members;
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting / Finance
- 35 Years Financial or accounting experience of which at least 1 needs to be as in treasury operations
- Costing and balance sheet recons and understanding.
- English and Portuguese speaking
- Business Acumen
- Good understanding of the Angolan banking system
- Knowledgeable in MS Office suite (Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook)
- Attention to detail
- Communication (Verbal and written)
