ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining automated test scripts ensuring comprehensive regression testing and collaborating closely with QA analysts and developers to deliver highquality software and hardware. You will also be responsible for using continuous integration to automate the integration of code changes and ensure that the integrated codebase is in a workable state.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Automation Scripts: Create and maintain automated test scripts using opensource tools including Jenkins.
- Bug Tracking and Documentation: Identify record and thoroughly document software bugs. Track their resolution.
- Regression Testing: Perform comprehensive regression testing when bugs are fixed.
- Requirements Review: Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
- Continuous integration monitoring and statistics: Identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Test methodology and processes: Use best practices to ensure the application meets its intended purposes.
WHO ARE YOU
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Experience with Automation Tools proficiency in tools like Selenium Appium or JUnit
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java Python C#
- Understanding of SDLC familiarity with software development life cycle testing methodologies and Atlassian
- Analytical with the ability to analyze requirements and design effective test cases
- Team player and able to collaborate with developers and other stakeholders
- Technically interested
