You will partner closely with the student and lead the Crimson team (tutors mentors consultants) to drive progress through longterm roadmaps and mentoring to build their candidacy through the application processes. Read more about it in ourebookand check out our websitefor more information.
Provide overarching admissions strategies to students by creating individualizedplans and executing them in collaboration with the rest of the students Crimson team (Application Mentors Student Success Managers Academic Tutors ECL Mentors)
Maintain expert knowledge of high school curricula extracurricular and leadership choices summer program applications and standardized test planning to make recommendations regarding admissions strategies
Utilize indepth knowledge of institutions of higher learning to guide students and parents towards attainable school goals working with them to create lists of bestfit schools of varied competition to maximize acceptance chances
Conduct formal consulting sessions with students every month and biweekly for application year students chronicling and sharing with relevant stakeholders notes and action items
Maintain reasonable levels of communication with students and families outside of formal sessions through various channels (e.g. email our Crimson app etc.)
Collaborate with local Sales teams in Initial Consultations to facilitate potential client investment and understanding in Crimsons products and services
Produce and acquire buyin from the Strategy Consulting team on internal resources and clientfacing materials to provide the highest standard of quality service worldwide and to engage earnestly in a culture of continuous professional development
What skills and experience youll need:
Graduated from a Top 15 Canadian University or top 30 US
Strong preference for experience with Canada admissions consulting for the undergraduate level at top universities
Passion for coaching young adults and appreciation of global perspectives
Superior planning and organizational skills; experience in project management event coordination and product management a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills
Resilience when working independently under pressure
Experience in education coaching tutoring and admissions consulting preferred
