Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

1. Campaign Coordination

  • Support Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, and promotional activities.
  • Content Creation: Help create marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, newsletters, and promotional content.

2. Sales Support

  • Assist Sales Team: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing schedules, preparing sales presentations, and coordinating sales meetings.
  • Lead Management: Track and manage leads, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with potential clients.

3. Market Research

  • Conduct Market Research: Gather and analyze market data to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports summarizing research findings and presenting insights to the sales and marketing teams.

4. Event Coordination

  • Organize Events: Assist in organizing trade shows, conferences, and promotional events, including logistics, setup, and post-event evaluations.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for event materials and services.

5. Social Media Management

  • Manage Social Media Accounts: Update and manage the organization's social media profiles, posting content, engaging with followers, and monitoring social media trends.
  • Content Calendar: Develop and maintain a content calendar for social media and marketing initiatives.

6. Administrative Tasks

  • Maintain Databases: Keep sales and marketing databases updated with customer information, leads, and marketing activities.
  • Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate records of sales and marketing activities, including budgets and expenses.

7. Collaboration

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as finance, operations, and customer service, to ensure alignment on sales and marketing efforts.
  • Team Meetings: Participate in regular sales and marketing meetings to share updates, progress, and insights.

8. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, customers, and stakeholders to support sales efforts.
  • Customer Feedback: Collect customer feedback and insights to inform marketing strategies and improve products or services.

9. Performance Analysis

  • Track Campaign Performance: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives, providing insights for future improvements.
  • KPI Reporting: Assist in the preparation of reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and marketing activities.

10. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sales and marketing.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in sales and marketing strategies.

Desired candidate profile

1. Educational Background

  • Degree in Marketing or Business: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is often required.
  • Additional Certifications: Certifications in digital marketing, social media marketing, or sales management can be an advantage.

2. Experience

  • Relevant Work Experience: Typically, 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Internship experience in these areas may also be considered.
  • Familiarity with Industry: Experience in the specific industry (e.g., hospitality, retail, etc.) can be beneficial.

3. Skills

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for creating marketing materials and interacting with clients and team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, social media platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
