Job Description
Job Title: Year 1 Teacher
Location: Birmingham UK
Contract Type: FullTime Temp to Perm
Salary: MPS/UPS depending on experience
Start Date:January 2025

Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our friendly and dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering highquality teaching and learning to our young learners ensuring they have the best possible start to their education. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is eager to make a real difference in the lives of children and contribute to the ongoing success of our school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum tailored to the needs of Year 1 students.
- Foster a positive inclusive and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and wellbeing.
- Use innovative teaching strategies and resources to support differentiated learning ensuring all children reach their full potential.
- Monitor and assess student progress providing regular feedback to students parents and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with colleagues support staff and parents to create a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the schools ongoing improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 1 (KS1) preferably in Year 1.
- A proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a love for learning and promoting a growth mindset among students.
- Passionate about education with a commitment to continuous professional development.
