Job Description
Position: Class 1 Driver
Location: Dartmouth NS
Wage: $22/HR
PPE: Safety Boots

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily waste pickup and local deliveries.
- Load products into a waste truck
- Maintain accurate documentation including manifests and bills of lading.
- Ensure compliance with TDG regulations for dangerous goods.
Requirements:
- Class 1 driver’s license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a semitruck with a van trailer.
- Knowledge of TDG WHMIS and DOT regulations.
- Ability to complete Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Waste Movement documents in compliance with TDG regulations.
- Demonstrated physical ability to perform job duties including sitting for long periods climbing lifting and pulling.
- Valid transportation is required.
- Must have safety boots (6in over ankle).
- Preemployment and regular site access drug and alcohol testing are required.
