Job Description
JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Portugal (Portuguese residency required)
- Work model: Remote
DAYTODAY DUTIES:
As an Infrastructure Engineer at Top Sigma you will:
- Design and implement resilient secure and cloudagnostic infrastructure across multiple regions.
- Set up and manage GCP environments including networking architecture IAM roles and security configurations.
- Implement a hubandspoke model in GCP for multitenant environments in close collaboration with the architecture team.
- Deploy and maintain GKE clusters Istio service mesh and Kubernetes services across GCP and Azure.
- Utilize GitLab CI/CD for infrastructure automation.
- Ensure solutions meet high availability resilience security and performance requirements.
- Apply security best practices compliance standards and governance policies to infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and integration.
- Create and maintain clear comprehensive technical documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7 years of professional experience with GCP.
- Deep understanding of networking including service meshes (Istio) and multicluster Kubernetes setups.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and containerized environments.
- Proficiency in Terraform and Helm for infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments.
- Handson experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in Python and GoLang for scripting automation and custom controller development.
- Indepth knowledge of security best practices governance and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with cloud architecture best practices and wellarchitected frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with architecture teams.
