Job Description

Upskills provides expert financial software consulting to investment banks and leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific Middle East and Europe. With a strong Front to Back expertise in the cash and derivatives markets coupled by an indepth knowledge of financial markets technologies we provide smart and efficient solutions.
We are seeking a highlymotivated Trading EQD Consultant with good knowledge and experience at Front Office side to join our dynamic Equity Derivatives Product Evolution Services Team. You will be charge of supporting a major client upgrade project included issue analysis and binary corrections mostly on autocalls and EQD exotics products with Murex Analytics (MACS) with given key responsibilities as below:

Analyze raised issues suggest adequate solutions or follow the related binary corrections on the equity module scope (including pricing Murex Analytics lifecycle Livebook performances with the help of dedicated teams).
Work closely with senior PES consultants that have been working for years on this account and know in details the functionnalities and products used by the client.
You will be handson to analyze issues found by the client team: in particular pricing and greeks reconciliation.
Assist to build reduced test cases for the binary corrections and work closely with several development teams to help them debug and correct and then to test and deliver fixes to the client.
Become the single point of contact for EQD with the client services team.
Be in charge of maintaining the priorized backlog of issues to analyze and correct by biweekly coordination calls with the client services team and following up on the progress.

Requirements

  • Masters or Bachelors Degree preferably from Financial Engineering Quantitative Finance Computer Science or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 year of Murex Front Office experience
  • Solid knowledge with Fixed Income Equity Derivatives Pricing and Greeks reconciliation.
  • Familiar with SQL scripting (perl awk)
  • Familiar with financial instruments representation and their lifecycle management
  • Familiar with dynamic table and simulation view
  • Possess experience gathering and analyzing requirements from users
  • Excellent communication skills able to handle multiple projects priorities and manage business expectations
  • Must be customer driven have the ability to work within a team environment and be focused on providing a high quality of service to the customer.
  • Strong and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills
