Job Description
Title: HVAC Estimator (Commercial/Industrial MEP Estimating)
Location: Middletown DE
Employment Type: Fulltime
Pay Rate: Up to $60/hr (based on experience and skill level)
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Analysis: Review blueprints required documents and project plans to gain a full understanding of the scope and details.
- Estimating work with management and sales on pricing and bidding mechanical projects including inputting takeoff amounts gathering subcontractor quotes and performing additional tasks as directed by management.
- Meetings: Attend prebid and site visit meetings conduct project handoffs with the project team and participate in project closeout meetings to incorporate lessons learned into future estimates.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with clients vendors subcontractors and engineering firms to support work opportunities and foster collaboration.
- MultiTask Management: Handle multiple tasks effectively prioritize workload and maintain focus to meet deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communication & Collaboration: Ensure productive communication with project managers contractors and clients on project expectations challenges and updates.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as an Mechanical Estimator with MEP or HVAC within Mechanical Contractor field.
- Proven background in HVAC estimating understanding of sales and budgeting for commercial/industrial HVAC projects ($5MM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and online GC software.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints schematics and knowledge of HVAC systems such as VRF VAV Split Systems Packaged units DDC Controls DOAS ERVs and hot/chilled water systems.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.

- Proven background in HVAC estimating sales and budgeting for commercial/industrial HVAC projects ($5MM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and online GC software.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints schematics and knowledge of HVAC systems such as VRF VAV Split Systems Packaged units DDC Controls DOAS ERVs and hot/chilled water systems.
