Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate all onsite grading and site work activities.
- Lead and manage grading and site work crews including subcontractors.
- Ensure work is performed according to project plans specifications and schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of grading and sitework equipment.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations & company policies.
- Ensure that all crew members are in proper attire which includes wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) safety vests and safety glasses as required. Long pants and hardsoled closedtoe work boots should also be worn while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
- Maintain clear communication with the project management team and clients.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on project progress crew hours and equipment usage.
- Identify and resolve onsite issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in grading and site work with strong knowledge of related processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Effective communication and problemsolving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Frequent standing walking and moving on uneven terrain
- Ability to climb in and out of equipment as needed
- Frequent bending kneeling and crouching
- Exposure to outdoor conditions including varying weather and temperatures
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and hand tools when necessary
- Capacity to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats safety glasses and gloves for extended periods
- Ability to work in loud dusty and potentially hazardous environments.
