Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the company in the execution of the short and longterm vision plans and directives by implementing judgement vision management and leadership in line with the companys mission and core values.
  • Oversees the general operations at PMI2 including Engineering PPIC manufacturing warehousing procurement IT and quality.
  • Implementation of operational management systems to organize and monitor PMI2 overall operations.
  • Ensures that PMI2 is compliant to all local environmental legislative and regulatory laws.
  • Ensures maximum capacity utilization through strategic and tactical scheduling of capacity vs demand.
  • Ensures that the production plans meet our required customers timeline (OTIF) expectations
  • Reviews and approves the 6months 3months monthly and weekly plans for production purchasing and PPIC.
  • Communicates with PMI2 customers and other related departments (internally and externally) to ensure that all NPI (new product introductions) meet timelines and are executed in line with operational expectations.
  • Ensures that raw materials packaging and other consumables are procured on time on quality and by achieving the optimal purchase price.
  • Ensures that production operations comply to PMI2 safety and quality standards.
  • Ensures that the utilities and services at PMI2 are maintained to an acceptable standard.
  • Ensures costings on products are accurate and completed timeously.
  • Responsible for the proper deployment of Group policies that promote company culture and vision within its territory in connection with the Group Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director
  • Defines the operational structure ensures the management of the teams and ensures the right level of skills and their defined performance objectives.
  • Responsible for supporting the business development of PMI2 makes the appropriate management decisions and guarantees the achievement of qualitative quantitative organizational objectives in relation with group and support functions
  • Manage all aspects of the internal supply chain demandsupply process from order acceptance to delivery.
  • Ensure sales are recorded and monitored in line with agreed processes Ensure products purchased are delivered in a timely way.
  • Maintain relationships with key vendors/partners maintains regular contact solves complex issues and anticipates and plans for the challenges involved in the operations
  • Oversees the activities of the Engineering team related to preventative and corrective maintenance project management and inventory management.
  • Collaborating with the department heads and operations as an advisor of all technologies develop and meet organizational goals.
  • Manage the staff turnover rate.
  • Report to PMI2 CEO with timely and accurate reports.
  • Respond to adhoc requests in a timely and professional manner.

SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENT

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical sector: Products and services
  • Solid communication skills and can work with all members of the organization and all levels of management
  • Ability to work in a complex fast paced environment and respond under ambiguous situations
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills attention to detail and is highly logical and numerate
  • A continuous improvement mindset and experience in process improvement will be an added advantage
  • Structured organized detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong in integration of new assets and technology. Start up to launch product organizations.
  • Ability to attract retain and develop a strong operations team.
  • Strong leadership skills critical thinking problem solving time management and communication skills.
  • Support & technical communication with customers.
  • Implementations of committed projects by setting goals and timelines
  • Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and equipment
  • Adapt & upkeep with innovative technologies
  • Manage Departments Budget
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory regulations
  • Innovate in engineers hiring and coordinate their training
  • Knowledge of project management techniques tools methodologies and best practices
  • Bachelors Degree in medical engineering (industrial management operation management) or related filed required and/or MBA Business management and a diversified experience of minimum 5 years as a Head of Operations Department.
  • 10 Years of experience in a senior management role or similar position; public/private company experience
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Office with knowledge of advanced excel data analysis Fluent in English
