Job Description

Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic Leasing Consultant to join our growing team. This role is essential for someone who values community demonstrates genuine care for people and possesses outstanding customer service and sales expertise. The ideal candidate will be motivated and ready to embrace the mission and vision of our organization. Our focus is on being peoplecentric emphasizing the importance of personal interaction and exceptional customer care. We aim to provide an experience that is not only satisfying but also sets us apart from competitors.

Responsibilities:

Greet potential residents and qualify them by asking pertinent questions and utilizing guest cards.

Accurately document all communications and visits in designated reports.

Organize and manage guest cards according to standard procedures.

Conduct informative tours of the property and model units tailoring the presentation to meet the needs of prospective clients.

Guide prospects through the application process and secure deposits in line with company protocols and Fair Housing laws.

Update availability reports process applications for credit and rental history and present them to the Community Manager for approval ensuring timely followup with applicants.

Ensure readiness of apartments for resident moveins on specified dates.

Provide a welcoming orientation to new residents within the community.

Track lease renewals and manage the distribution and followup of renewal notices.

Culture and Environment:

Exhibit empathy respect and intelligence in interactions with residents.

Listen attentively to residents working to resolve issues and concerns promptly.

Display skills in conflict resolution and problemsolving to enhance resident satisfaction.

Encourage teamwork and camaraderie among staff members.

Actively contribute to morning meetings ensuring they are engaging and productive.

Participate in community events and volunteer opportunities.

Qualifications:

Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Competent in using telephone systems personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Outlook.

A positive attitude and the ability to maintain a smile in all circumstances.

Capable of thriving in a fastpaced everevolving work environment.

At least two years of experience in leasing is preferred.
