Job Description

We are looking for a Production Technician to join our team in Florida. As a Production Technician you will assemble small components and subassemblies to create a larger toplevel part in accordance with work instructions and blueprints for release to customers in accordance with internal and external quality requirements.
Aeronautics a business unit of Gauzy we are market leader in shading systems focused on the development design and manufacturing of comprehensive customized awardwinning products for aviation marine and special vehicles.
Located in Melbourne FL. 32901
Fulltime 40 hours per week. Monday Friday 3:00 pm 10:30 pm. Excellent benefits including health dental vision life insurance AFLAC and PTO.
Responsibilities:
- Aligns material and assembles parts to build more complex units using tools and machinery
- Review samples drawings or work instructions to understand the specification of output and ensure output is of the highest quality
- Inspects parts with precision and measuring tools while following Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)
- Complies with safety security and quality management system requirements to ensure quality and timely customer delivery
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements :
- Ability to read and analyze drawings
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems/issues
- Mechanically inclined. Must be able to use tools and machinery
- Excellent handeye coordination
- Weight lift requirement 40 lbs
Advantage
- Higher degree from technical school
- Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards
- Aerospace or similar manufacturing background strongly desired
- Good understanding of quality control principles
- 1 year of experience
