Job Description
Job Title: Infection Control Registered Nurse
Location: Zuni New Mexico 87327
Duration: 1 year (options for 26 weeks or fulltime)
Start Date: January 2025
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00pm
Qualification:
License: Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA
Certifications: BLS ACLS Required (PALS TNCC good to have)
Experience: Minimum of 35 past years successful experience in providing same/similar type of services detailing.
Vaccination Required
Responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing and enhancing clinical practices to ensure adherence to infection prevention and control regulations.
- Regularly update infection prevention and control plans and revise policies and procedures as necessary.
- Assist the Infection Prevention and Control committee and communicate updates and activities to hospital leadership.
- Conduct monitor and document surveillance activities to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Collect secure and report data in line with NHSN and other reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement infection prevention training for all employees including new hires.
- Accurately document activities according to TJC and CMS standards and submit completed timesheets to ensure accurate billing.
