Job Description
PRODUCTION TECH
Auburn Hills MI
1st shift: 6am230pm $18.50hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assemble test and repair products according to work orders and procedures.
- Understand and work to hydraulic electrical mechanical and general engineering drawings and specifications.
- Prepare proper documentation and certifications per company standards.
- Present a positive image of company to customers integrators and vendors at all times.
- Assemble and test rivet setters and complete riveting tools and systems.
- Perform timely and effective preventive maintenance on production tools and equipment as required.
- Maintain safe clean and organized work areas that are free from hazard.
- Demonstrated ability to train others.
- Cooperate with other areas of the organization.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Minimum one year of practical/relevant experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands on mechanical/electrical/hydraulic experience.
- Computer literacy and ability to read assembly drawings.
- Good communication organization and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and consistent demonstration of safe work practices at all times.
- Adaptable and willing to learn and develop along with the company.
- Able to operate effectively and with a high level of quality.
EDUCATION OR QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (AS APPLICABLE):
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. (occassional)
