Job Description
We are seeking a Head of Finance & Strategy to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the financial and strategic direction of the company. This role requires a unique combination of financial expertise strategic insight and operational leadership to support and drive company growth.
You will be responsible for managing our financial structure supporting decisionmaking with an analytical approach and ensuring smooth administrative operations. If you are a proactive financial leader with a strategic mindset wed love to hear from you!
Tasks
Financial Planning and Modelling:
- Create maintain and update financial models and budgets.
- Perform sensitivity analysis and provide financial projections to guide strategic decisions.
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement a robust financial strategy aligned with the companys objectives.
- Support highlevel decisionmaking by offering datadriven financial insights.
Administrative and Accounting Oversight:
- Supervise accounting and administrative operations ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices.
- Establish clear guidelines for daytoday administrative processes.
Investor Relations and Audits:
- Manage investor reporting and lead annual audits.
- Provide financial support during funding rounds collaborating with potential investors.
External Financing and Grant Management:
- Identify apply for and manage grants subsidies and bank financing opportunities.
- Prepare and justify financial reports for these funds ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Board of Directors Preparation:
- Prepare and present relevant financial data and insights for board meetings.
- Collaborate closely with the board providing financial expertise to support decisionmaking.
Requirements
- Academic Background: Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or similar. Advanced degrees (e.g. Masters in Finance MBA) are a plus.
- Experience: 57 years in finance strategic planning or investment banking. Experience in fastgrowing environments such as startups is preferred.
- Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations with prior experience managing accounting teams.
- Language Skills: Fluent English both written and spoken as the company operates in an international environment with documentation in English.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to foresee potential issues provide solutions and align financial insights with business goals.
- Leadership Skills: Strong capability to lead and inspire administrative financial and accounting teams.
