Location: Santa Clara CA
Job Type: FullTime OnSite

The company provides comprehensive Assembly & Design services with a 100% Turnkey approach partnering with leading industry players in Silicon Photonics LiDAR AI/ML SiP and sensor technologies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated Silicon Photonics Process Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have handson experience a passion for problemsolving and an eagerness to contribute to the growth of photonic assembly technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and optimize silicon photonics manufacturing processes.
  • Engage in research and development (R&D) initiatives related to photonics assembly.
  • Ensure all processes comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and build custom manufacturing setups.
  • Operate fully automated active alignment systems for photonics components.
  • Write machine automation scripts for the assembly of PICs and components such as lasers lenses and Fiber arrays.
  • Interface with clients to discuss project specifications and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage project deliverables track progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering or Physics.
  • Experience with handson projects or working in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks) for designing simple tools.
  • Basic knowledge of machine automation and understanding of computer logic principles.
  • Understanding of electrical engineering tools such as mustimeters and power supplies.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
