Job Description
Responsibilities
- Site Planning and Layout:
- Assist in the development of site plans considering factors such as layout grading and utility placement.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate design components into comprehensive project plans.
- Grading and Drainage Design:
- Contribute to grading and drainage design activities under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in the preparation of calculations and plans related to site development.
- Utility Design:
- Learn and contribute to the design of site utilities including water sewer and stormwater systems.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure utility designs align with project requirements.
- Technical Support:
- Utilize design software (such as Civil 3D AutoCAD) to assist in creating detailed plans and drawings.
- Provide technical support in the preparation of project documentation.
- Project Coordination:
- Work closely with project teams to ensure effective coordination and communication.
- Assist in project scheduling task tracking and milestone identification.
- Learning and Development:
- Actively engage in ongoing learning to enhance technical skills and stay current with industry trends.
- Seek mentorship from senior team members to accelerate professional growth.
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- 05 years of experience; previous internship or coursework related to civil engineering is a plus for a new college grad.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles and design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D).
- Eagerness to learn and apply new technical skills.
- Communication:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability:
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
