Job Title: Insurance Defence Attorney

JOB SUMMARY:
Our firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general liability professional liability construction litigation property damage claims personal injury defense and transportation. This role requires an independent detailoriented professional who is wellversed in litigation practices and committed to excellent client service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a high volume of cases efficiently while meeting all critical deadlines.
- Conduct thorough research on complex legal issues to support case strategy.
- Draft and prepare pleadings motions memoranda discovery documents and related legal correspondence.
- Engage in court appearances client meetings depositions and mediations as required.
- Communicate proactively with clients to provide case updates and respond to inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with other attorneys and support staff to ensure coordinated case efforts.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Maryland.
- Relevant legal experience with a concentration in insurance defense.
- Strong academic background and proven abilities in research writing and oral communication
- Selfmotivated highly organized and attentive to detail
- Experience handling complex general liability professional liability construction litigation property damage claims personal injury defense and transportation cases is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Proven litigation experience with a solid track record in insurance defense
- Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment while effectively managing multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a clientfocused approach.
