Job Description:
- The Project Managers job is to oversee each project from conception to the finish interfacing with construction professionals clients and subcontractors.
- The Project Manager must control the time cost and quality of their construction projects.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process including estimating hiring contractors and working with engineers architects owners and vendors.
- The Project Manager will oversee multiple construction projects at any given time.
- An understanding of the construction business and the ability to work under deadlines in a fastpaced environment are important for career success.
- The ideal candidate will harbor a passion for construction and devote his or her creativity to our projects.
- 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects ensuring that each project is completed on schedule and within budget while delivering a quality project
- Communicate with project superintendents and field personal to monitor worker productivity building compliance and safety compliance
- Work with clients to ensure their satisfaction
- Negotiate with subcontractors vendors and suppliers
- Conduct weekly project meetings with clients and architects
- Prepare construction schedules
- Approve vendor pay applications/prepare monthly pay applications for clients
- Process change orders RFIs and submittals
- Prepare project estimates for clients
