Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

dedicated and detail-oriented Data Portfolio Coordinator to join our team. As a Data Portfolio Coordinator, you will coordinate and manage the data portfolio across various projects and teams within the company. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective delivery of data-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for data management.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the data portfolio across multiple projects and teams
  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize data initiatives based on business objectives
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and deliverables related to the data portfolio
  • Monitor and track the progress of data initiatives and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data governance processes and standards
  • Identify and address any issues or risks that may arise during the execution of data initiatives
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Experience in preparing clear and concise reports and presentations for various audiences.
  • Organizational Skills

  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized records and documentation of data processes and workflows.
  • Personal Attributes

  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and technologies as needed.

  • Additional Considerations

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, education) can be advantageous.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field

Experience: Experience coordinating and managing data projects or portfolios

Skills:

Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools) are a plus.
Technical Skills
Data Management: Proficiency in data entry, validation, and database management.
Software Proficiency: Experience with database software (e.g., SQL, Access) and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data sets and generate reports using analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience
Relevant Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data coordination, data entry, or a related field.
Project Management: Experience in managing data-related projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Analytical Skills
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and data integrity, with the ability to identify discrepancies.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot data issues and propose solutions effectively.
