Minutes to Seconds is looking for an Application Architect in a Contract position.

Job Overview
The Application Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the application architecture for our software solutions ensuring alignment with business needs technology standards and industry best practices. You will work closely with development teams product managers and other stakeholders to create scalable efficient and secure application frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in software architecture application frameworks and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Design: Lead the design and architecture of application solutions to meet business requirements while ensuring scalability security and performance.
- Technology Roadmap: Define and implement an application architecture roadmap aligning with the company s strategic goals and technology stack.
- System Integration: Architect and oversee integrations between applications and various platforms ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Standardization: Develop and enforce application standards design patterns and best practices across development teams.
- Cloud & OnPremise Architecture: Design application architectures suitable for both cloudbased (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and onpremise environments.
- Code & Security Review: Conduct architectural and code reviews to ensure quality security and adherence to architectural standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers business analysts and developers to ensure application architecture aligns with business objectives.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the application architecture including diagrams technical requirements and design patterns.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams helping them understand architectural standards and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7 years of experience in software development with 3 years as an application or solutions architect.
- Proven experience designing building and maintaining scalable application architectures.
- 7 years of experience in software development with 3 years as an application or solutions architect.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with multiple programming languages such as Java .NET Python or JavaScript frameworks (React Angular).
- Deep knowledge of software architecture principles including microservices SOA RESTful APIs and eventdriven architecture.
- Experience with cloud architecture (AWS Azure GCP) and related services.
- Strong understanding of database systems (SQL NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with multiple programming languages such as Java .NET Python or JavaScript frameworks (React Angular).
- Analytical & ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical scalable and effective application solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with enterprise application integration (EAI) tools message brokers (Kafka RabbitMQ) and API management.
- Knowledge of application security principles and familiarity with frameworks like OAuth SAML and JWT.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Certification in relevant areas such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or TOGAF.
