Job Description

Job Title: CNC Sales Specialist Used CNC Equipment
Location: North America
Reports To: Sales Manager Used CNC
Job Type: FullTime Salary Commission
Compensation: $85000 $100000 base plus commission

Job Overview:
We are looking for a driven CNC Sales Specialist with expertise in used CNC equipment to expand our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry network a proven sales background in CNC machinery and the ability to provide clients with technical advice and support. This role emphasizes sourcing new business opportunities fostering strong client relationships and growing revenue. A major focus will be identifying and sourcing used CNC equipment for purchase to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and build relationships with key clients across industries using CNC equipment such as manufacturing automotive aerospace and metalworking.
  • Proactively source and acquire used CNC equipment based on client needs and market demand.
  • Generate leads through outreach activities including cold calling networking trade show attendance and referrals.
  • Present CNC equipment options aligning solutions with clients production and budget requirements.

Product Knowledge & Consultation:

  • Exhibit indepth knowledge of CNC machinery including various brands models and applications for both new and used equipment.
  • Provide clients with technical guidance on equipment selection specifications and machine capabilities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations emphasizing equipment features and advantages to potential buyers.

Negotiation & Deal Closure:

  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales proposals pricing and service packages.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales contracts overseeing the sales process from initial contact to close.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate sales contracts equipment delivery and installation.

PostSales Support & Customer Retention:

  • Maintain strong client relationships postsale ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Address client inquiries or concerns promptly.

Sales Reporting:

  • Document all sales activities and customer interactions within the CRM system.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 35 years in CNC machinery sales ideally with experience in both new and used equipment markets.
  • Strong connections within the CNC and manufacturing industries.

Skills:

  • Excellent sales and negotiation abilities with a consultative approach to relationship building.
  • Strong technical understanding of CNC equipment its applications and the manufacturing process.
  • Effective communication skills for explaining technical details clearly to clients.
  • Selfmotivated able to work independently meet sales targets and succeed in a competitive sales environment.

Other Requirements:

  • Willing to travel up to 75% to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver s license with a clean record.
