Nights: 5PM 3:30AM
Job Type:Temp to Hire
Location:Catoosa Oklahoma
Weld Test:2G Plate test with the GTAW root pass and SMAW fill and cap.
Job Overview:
The Header Welder Combo A is responsible for fitting and welding fabricated and forged components to assemble header components using various welding processes. This role requires a skilled welder who can interpret blueprints and execute precise welding techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to layout and assemble header components accurately.
- Fit and weld parts using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) processes.
- Position align and tackweld components to secure parts for final welding.
- Set up welding equipment based on material type and job specifications to ensure efficient operation.
- Conduct inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during the welding process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to all safety regulations.
MustHave Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics for layout and assembly.
- Demonstrated experience with SMAW GMAW and/or GTAW welding processes.
- Ability to position align and fit components correctly for welding.
- Experience in setting up welding equipment for different material types.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
