Maintenance Technician
Location: Oklahoma City Oklahoma
Pay: $18.50/hr
Hours: 6:30 AM 2:30 PM

Position Overview:
We are hiring a Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician to ensure our conveyor systems operate efficiently and safely. This position involves regular inspections troubleshooting and repairs to keep equipment in top condition and minimize downtime. Working closely with the maintenance team and production staff youll play an essential role in keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect conveyor belt systems regularly to identify and address potential issues.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and hydraulic problems.
- Replace and adjust components including rollers pulleys belts motors and bearings.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules including lubrication bolt tightening and belt alignment.
- Keep maintenance records including inspection reports and repair logs and manage parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Work closely with the maintenance team production staff and equipment suppliers to solve problems.
- Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests to reduce downtime.
- Train operators and other staff on proper conveyor operation and maintenance procedures.
- Look for ways to improve processes increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems.
- Strong mechanical electrical and hydraulic diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to perform repairs and make adjustments to conveyor components.
- Familiarity with safety protocols in industrial environments.
- Strong organizational skills for recordkeeping and inventory management.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
