Design and implement mechanical systems for largescale projects. Conduct structural calculations acceleration forces load calculations material stress design and failure analysis. Lead installation system integration and commissioning of systems. Analyze mechanical designs for hazard mitigation and compliance with safety standards. Produce design documents drawings and procedures using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic control systems. Conduct system analysis including stress fatigue and reliability testing. Evaluate amusement ride safety standards especially for emergency scenarios. Work closely with engineers and contractors guiding lowerlevel staff and managing smaller projects from $50k to $250k. Manage project costs schedules and client requirements. Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Stable work history 5+ years in the following areas is preferred: Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is also desired An in-depth understanding of mechanical systems, components, stress analysis, acceleration forces, and knowledge of amusement ride safety standards (ASTM Standards). Develops drawings of mechanical design, assemblies, and installation procedures on AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks software. Ability to design and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic control systems. Ability to perform system analysis/calculations including: Stress, fatigue, reliability, life expectancy, tolerance studies. Knowledge of ride system design requirements for attractions involving guest accelerations, reach envelope, ingress/egress, weight, and emergency evacuation analysis and implementation upon control system failure in worst-case scenarios. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and Office environments
