Roles and responsibilities

As a Product Designer, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and user interface of our cutting-edge products in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and various stakeholders, you will develop intuitive, user-centric designs that simplify complex DeFi processes, enhance security, and boost user engagement. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the design of new features and enhancements, guiding projects from concept to delivery. Your focus will be on creating seamless and user-friendly experiences across our product range. A user-centered approach will be crucial; you will conduct research to develop user personas, uncovering the needs and motivations of DeFi users to inform your design decisions.

Prototyping will be a significant part of your responsibilities. You will create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to quickly visualize ideas and gather feedback during the early stages of development. This iterative process will allow you to refine interfaces, simplifying complex interactions and optimizing user flows while ensuring that security remains a top priority.

Collaboration will be at the heart of your work. You will partner with cross-functional teams—including product management, engineering, and marketing—to align your design solutions with business objectives and technical requirements. Data-driven decision-making will also play a vital role; you will utilize analytics and user feedback to guide design improvements, iterating on product features and measuring the effectiveness of your designs.

Desired candidate profile

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess comprehensive knowledge of DeFi protocols and blockchain-based products, with prior experience in DeFi or blockchain design being highly preferred. You should have at least three years of proven experience in product design, accompanied by a robust portfolio that showcases your UI/UX skills across both web and mobile platforms.

Technical proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD is necessary. Familiarity with front-end technologies and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers is a plus. Your experience in user research and usability testing will be vital for applying insights that elevate design quality.

An analytical mindset will help you leverage product data and user behavior insights to inform your design choices. Strong communication skills are essential for articulating design decisions and collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
