As a Global Collection Manager at SoftwareOne, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our collections processes on a global scale. This essential position directly impacts our financial health by optimizing cash flow and minimizing bad debt. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective collection strategies, collaborating with regional teams, and fostering positive relationships with our valued customers. Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will spearhead the development and execution of world-class global collection strategies designed to enhance cash flow and reduce bad debt. You will supervise and analyze our global collections processes, ensuring continuous improvement and meticulous execution. By collaborating with regional collections teams, you will share best practices and promote consistent and optimized processes across all regions.

Building effective communication channels is key; you will cultivate strong relationships with key customers, team members, and collaborators to facilitate problem-solving and ensure seamless interactions. You will also ensure strict compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements across various markets, safeguarding our operations.

Your responsibilities will include preparing regular reports and presentations for management that detail the status and performance of collections activities. You will also proactively identify and address potential risks in the collections process to ensure risk mitigation and positive audit outcomes.

Desired candidate profile

Job Requirements

To qualify for this role, you should possess a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in collections, preferably in a global capacity. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with collections software and tools are essential. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are crucial for success, as is the ability to navigate a dynamic and multicultural environment. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages will be considered a valuable asset.
