Job Description
Roles and responsibilities
As a Back-End Developer at Condor Gaming, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our websites and applications run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You will work closely with our front-end developers and other stakeholders to develop robust APIs, manage databases, and optimize server performance to deliver a top-notch user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and manage server-side logic that powers websites
- Handle requests and responses between the server and the client, ensuring efficient data flow
- Write and maintain efficient, scalable server-side code
- Design, implement, and manage databases to store content, user information, and other critical data
- Create secure, fast, and well-documented APIs to connect front-end services with back-end functionalities
- Integrate third-party APIs, including payment gateways and social media logins
- Optimize server response times and database queries for fast load times and responsiveness
- Implement caching strategies to reduce server load and enhance user experience
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless website functionality
- Provide back-end support for dynamic features such as search functions, user accounts, and data submission forms
- Deploy websites to web servers, manage hosting environments, and monitor website performance, security, and uptime
- Handle maintenance tasks, including regular updates and bug fixes
Desired candidate profile
In addition to the essential skills, bonus expertise in Docker, NodeJS (with Gulp), Symfony Framework, and Jenkins CI/CD is highly valued but not required.
