Job Description
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement behavior intervention strategies effectively.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and support to staff caregivers and families on behavior management techniques.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify specific behavioral challenges and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Stay current with best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
- Excellent data collection skills for tracking client progress and outcomes.
- Ability to maintain detailed medical records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with clients families and team members.
- Knowledge of evidencebased practices in behavior analysis and intervention strategies.
