Job Description
Position : GIS Developer
Client : State of GA
Location : GA LOCALS HYBRID
Visa : GC or USC
Experience : 7yrs
Experience: 7 years of experience in GIS development geospatial analysis or a related role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python JavaScript SQL and C.
Experience with GIS platforms like ArcGIS QGIS and web mapping libraries (e.g. Leaflet OpenLayers).
Knowledge of spatial databases (e.g. PostgreSQL/PostGIS Oracle Spatial).
Experience with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) and deployment tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
