The Role: We are seeking a Senior Consultant/Specialist Anaesthetist to join as a Clinical Director of Anaesthetics in a rural setting in a well-supported team. The Clinical Director of Anaesthetics is an administrative role worked in conjunction with clinical duties (0.4 FTE non-clinical / 0.6 FTE clinical).

The Clinical Director of Anaesthetics is a role with leadership and governance responsibilities within the Surgical Services Cluster, aligning safe and high-quality clinical service delivery with strategic direction and values.
The Hospital: 172 bed, modern facility, and tertiary teaching hospital. The hospital assists a catchment population of up to 100,000 and provides several Acute Services including Emergency, General Medicine and Surgery, Intensive Care, Mental Health and Paediatrics.
